Seasons We’re Bound to Feel

So let us run into the night
Hold my hand we’ll be alright,
The snow is higher than my knees
The wind blows tough on leafless trees,
We laugh and fall and jump and scream
Could this have been my endless dream?
The stars gaze down at our town
While we’re rolling on the ground,
We dance, we dive, we flip and fly
Then lay breathless puzzled by the sky
Our hearts beat faster than before
Yet we’re not children anymore,
Oh what joy it is to feel
I smile at you and know it’s real.
